What is the meaning of "bent on". How do we use it in a sentence ?
It means to be determined.
E.G. "She was bent on winning this game. She couldn't lose again!"
"They were bent on going to the party, no matter what the consequences would be"
(idiomatic) Completely determined; obstinate.
